About us
Satya Studios is a sole-trader business based in Flintshire, North Wales, UK. It is not a limited company and is not VAT registered, so we do not charge VAT. Contact info@satyastudios.uk.
Our non-profit purpose does not reduce your consumer rights or change our responsibilities as a seller.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to purchases made from Satya Studios through this website and our linked Square checkouts. The product description, agreed song brief, Refund and Cancellation Policy and relevant licence terms form part of your order. We provide the terms in English. Keep a copy with your order confirmation.
Products and prices
Prices are in pounds sterling. Satya Studios is not VAT registered and does not add VAT. The total payable, including any applicable taxes and agreed charges, is shown before you pay. There is no physical delivery charge for downloads or emailed songs. Check the product, edition, price and contact details before completing checkout. No subscription is created unless we expressly describe and agree one before purchase.
Qurvature and Pulse desktop purchases are for Windows 10/11 (x64). A desktop purchase does not include a separate plug-in edition unless expressly stated. Check compatibility and use the available trial before buying.
Ordering and payment
Square hosts the payment checkout. We do not collect your card number or security code on this website. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and we issue the order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and offer an agreed alternative or refund. Obvious listing errors will be explained; we will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
We will provide an order confirmation and the applicable terms in a form you can save. Contact us promptly if you entered an incorrect email address or selected the wrong product.
Software downloads and activation
You may download and install the software before buying. Both Windows desktop products include a 30-day trial. Purchasing does not require an Installation ID at checkout.
The software downloads are available from our website at any time, including before purchase for the free trial. After buying, install the product, open Settings → Licensing and email the Installation ID and Square receipt reference to info@satyastudios.uk. We verify payment, generate the licence manually and email it to you. A payment receipt is not an activation key. If we cannot provide the purchased licence, you are entitled to the appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
Personalised songs
Gifted in Song orders include custom lyrics, AI-assisted music production, an MP3, cover artwork and one round of amendments. Standard delivery is within seven calendar days and Express within three calendar days after both payment and the completed questionnaire are received. Tell us about a fixed occasion date before ordering if timing is essential.
Your questionnaire forms the agreed creative brief. We will contact you if essential information is missing or a request cannot be fulfilled. Changes to the brief or delivery date require agreement; additional charges must be agreed before we incur them. If we miss the agreed delivery deadline for your personalised song, you receive a full refund and we will still finish and deliver the track free of charge. You keep the same agreed song and lyric rights as a fully paid customer. A later deadline applies only if you expressly agree it with us; we will not extend it unilaterally.
Included song amendments
Your included amendment round covers both lyrics and musical arrangement. Send one consolidated set of requested changes after listening to the first delivery: for example names, wording, pronunciation, tempo, instruments, the balance of the arrangement or the feel of the song within the agreed brief. A different recipient, occasion or substantially new song brief is a new commission and needs a separate agreement. Corrections needed to meet the original brief or your statutory rights do not use up this allowance.
Recording sessions
Recording is offered without charge; donations are optional. Any donation must be clearly distinguished from the price of a purchase. Recording arrangements, use of performances and any permission to publish recordings must be agreed separately. Buying software or a song does not grant permission to publish your private recordings.
Cancellations, faults and complaints
See the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights concerning faulty or misdescribed digital content, services not performed with reasonable care and skill, or other mandatory consumer protections. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything the law does not permit us to exclude.
Email complaints to info@satyastudios.uk with your order reference and a description of the issue. We will investigate and explain the proposed resolution. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the purchase, but not your full card details.
Complaints and independent dispute resolution
Email info@satyastudios.uk with “Complaint” in the subject line and your order reference. Our Complaints and ADR Policy explains the process, escalation and independent dispute-resolution options. You retain the right to seek advice, contact the relevant regulator or use the courts.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and court rights applicable where they live. Changes apply to future orders; the version agreed for your purchase continues to apply unless we agree a lawful change with you.
