Software Licence
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
This agreement covers the Windows desktop editions of Qurvature and Pulse supplied by Satya Studios. Contact info@satyastudios.uk. It forms part of the terms presented before purchase or trial installation. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Licence, not sale of copyright
We grant you permission to use the software under this agreement. We and our licensors retain rights in the application, code, interface and supplied assets. Buying a licence does not transfer ownership of those materials. Third-party components remain subject to any applicable notices and licences.
Trial
Each product includes a 30-day trial. The trial runs according to the dates shown in the application. Normal reinstalls do not create a fresh trial. At expiry, processing bypasses until a valid licence is activated; saved settings are retained. You may stop using or uninstall the trial at any time.
Paid use
A paid licence permits personal and professional audio work. You may process your own audio or audio you are authorised to handle, including commercial productions and client projects. We take no ownership or royalty in audio simply because you process it with the software. This does not grant rights in audio owned by someone else.
One purchased licence permits one active Windows PC at a time. Installation-bound activation is used. Contact us to replace a key when moving to another PC or after a material hardware change; an old activation must no longer be used.
Activation and delivery
Purchase does not require prior installation. After installing, send the product's Installation ID and your receipt reference to info@satyastudios.uk. We check payment and email a signed, PC-specific key manually. Qurvature and Pulse have separate keys; one product's key does not activate the other. Keep your key private.
The licence is a one-time purchase for the edition described at checkout, not a subscription. The paid licence is perpetual for the purchased edition, subject to lawful termination under this agreement. No future major upgrade, plug-in edition, additional device allowance or guaranteed indefinite download hosting is included unless expressly promised. Updates necessary to meet our legal obligations are not excluded.
Permitted copies and restrictions
You may keep a reasonable backup copy for your licensed use. Do not sell or share activation keys, redistribute the software as your own product, remove ownership notices or bypass licence controls. Restrictions on copying, modification or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; statutory exceptions remain available. To move your own licence to a replacement PC, contact us for a replacement activation and stop using the old one. A transfer to another owner needs our prior agreement and must include the whole licence and cessation of your use, without prejudice to transfer rights the law gives you.
Operation and compatibility
The desktop products target Windows 10/11 (x64). Device processing uses Windows audio effects; some ASIO, exclusive, raw or protected audio paths may bypass it. Attaching or removing an effect can require Windows administrator approval and briefly interrupt the selected endpoint. Check compatibility with your own equipment and workflow during the trial.
Use sensible monitoring levels and keep backups of important work. These practical precautions do not remove our responsibilities for defects or damage for which we are legally liable.
Privacy
The applications use an Installation ID and locally stored activation/trial state. Information you email for activation is handled under our Privacy Policy. Do not send card numbers, account passwords or unrelated device information with a licence request.
Ending the licence
You may end the licence by stopping use and deleting your activation key and licensed copies. We may end a licence for a material breach after giving notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it where appropriate. We will not cancel a licence simply because you make a genuine complaint or exercise consumer rights. A full refund ending the licence ends paid-use permission.
Support, remedies and governing law
Contact info@satyastudios.uk for help. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains cancellation and faulty-content remedies. There is no blanket “as is” exclusion of consumer rights or blanket exclusion of liability. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The law of England and Wales governs this agreement, subject to mandatory consumer protections and court rights applicable where you live. Later changes do not retrospectively reduce the rights attached to an existing purchase.
